PBMA Membership Benefits

  • PBMA’s annual conference and workshops are packed with practical, use-it-today information. Members enjoy discounted registration fees. Many PBMA-produced training events carry continuing education credits.  PBMA is approved to issue CPE credit as a member of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
  • PBMA is a professional network. Members never have to face a tough problem alone. In most cases, a connection to a "been there – done that" colleague is just a phone call away. (See our Mentor section.)
  • PBMA is a link to the leadership of the national public broadcasting organizations --CPB, NPR, PBS, and APTS-- and that link is a two-way connection. The national organizations often call on PBMA for advice and consultation, and use PBMA as a way to deliver operational information directly to end-users.
  • PBMA dues are tiered to conform to members’ station’s budgets.
  • PBMA's weekly email newsletter, "BottomLine," goes to the designated representative of each member organization and to other member-organization employees as requested by the designated rep.
