Preparation of the
CPB Annual Financial Report

This workshop is designed to discuss and illustrate the unique
aspects of financial reporting to CPB using the web-based Annual
Financial Report (AFR). It also defines and discusses the
application of non-federal financial support (NFFS) policies to
station revenues. You will learn about the reasons for financial
reporting to CPB and the essential role NFFS plays in Community
Service Grant (CSG) calculations. Additionally, you will learn how
to use CPB's web-based reporting tool, ISIS, and you will be
instructed on the non-financial provisions of the Communications
Act.

How to Complete an
Accurate SABS Report

This is a practical how-to workshop on accurately completing the
SABS survey.
Attendees will be led through each of the SABS
sections and discuss the types of financial and non-financial
information to be reported. This workshop will cover the following
areas: SABS data collection, error checking, available tools, the
SABS help desk support and submitting your completed SABS survey.
Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and bring station
situations on how to handle and report financial and non-financial
SABS information. The session will conclude by briefly explaining
the SABS reporting available to the user community. Please do not
hesitate to invite and bring any personnel that are involved with
collecting, entering and/or reporting SABS information.

administering a PTFP grant. Attending this workshop will enable you
to confidently use the on-line reporting system, save time on your
reports and simplify the close-out process. We will go over Federal

reporting requirements, the role of NIST and the ASAP system,
project extensions, close-out procedures, liens, leases, and the
