New Models for Fundraising

Finance Directors, Station Managers and Human Resource Managers will not want to miss this session meant to challenge “the way we have always done it” and ask you to consider significantly new approaches to net revenue generation. Most of those changes will present us with major new opportunities, but we need to be ready to take advantage of them. He will come armed with very recent research from DEI Benchmarks 2007, 3MG Research – sponsored by NPR, and “hot off the press” research from the planning work for CPB’s Major Giving Initiative for Public Radio.

Presenter: Doug Eichten, DEI

 Station executives will be challenged to think differently than they have in the past regarding who should have what roles in revenue generation.
 Station executives will learn about methods for engaging the community and donors as our partners in revenue generation.
 The session will explore approaches to collaborating with other non-profits in the community and with other public broadcasting stations.
 Finance executives will be challenged to focus on and analyze ‘the big picture” in net revenue generation.
